1. Read your Itsy-Bitsy Money Book (should be in your bookbox)

1. Draw a big picture of a loonie.

1. Be sure to copy all the details and words on the coin (Canada, 1 dollar, the date). Think of this as math mixed with writing words mixed with drawing.

1. Label it: loonie.

Wilderness Wednesday

Earthworms.

How to make a Worm Jar

• Materials: clear jar, soil, sand, compost and earthworms
• Put soil into bottom 1/3rd of  jar
• put layer of sand
• Put in another 1/3rd of soil.
• add worm
• add layer of compost
• put on lid (be sure to make holes for air).
• observe how the worm creates tunnels in the soil and how it helps mix the sand
